“Ohhhh you know what you should try…?”
I find myself saying this kind of thing quite often. I don’t know why, but I’ve long had a compulsive need to give people personal recommendations – for books, shows, products, mobile apps, shops or anything that I’ve tried, loved and think other people will also dig.
In another life, I must have been a fancy hotel concierge or something. But for real, here are a few reasons why I’m a world-class recommender…
- I own my own digital marketing company, so promoting things I believe in just comes naturally to me.
- I’m an early adopter – y’all, I was using Uber when it was just luxy black cars.
- When I find something I truly love, I feel duty-bound to tell everyone I know.
So, I thought it was time to widen my circle and broadcast my impassioned (and unsponsored) recommendations to the world!
